Neurolens
Neurolens® in Port St. Lucie
What Is Neurolens?
Neurolens is a specialty lens built to ease symptoms such as headaches, neck pain, tired eyes, dry eyes, sensitivity to light, and dizziness.

Developed from a discovery that connects optometry with neurology, Neurolenses are designed to help your eyes work together in comfortable alignment. They use a technology known as “contoured prism,” which places correction precisely in the areas of the lens where your eyes need it most. As a premium lens, Neurolens comes standard with high-quality materials and a high-quality anti-reflective coating.

Are You a Neurolens® Candidate?
Do you deal with frequent headaches? Do your eyes feel tired or dry? Do you have neck and shoulder pain, or moments of dizziness? Do these symptoms build as the day goes on, or after long stretches on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, or while reading? If so, you are not alone, and you may be wondering what is causing it. Your eyes could be behind your discomfort, and Neurolens could help.
How Do I Find Out If I’m a Candidate for Neurolenses?
People who spend long hours at a computer, doing close-up detailed work, or reading, and who experience eye strain, persistent headaches that haven’t improved with other treatments, or neck and shoulder pain may benefit from Neurolens. Each pair is customized to the patient and is available in any prescription. Neurolens can even be a good option for contact lens wearers and for people who don’t need a vision prescription.
At St. Lucie Family Eye Care, we can help you find out whether Neurolens is right for you. As part of your comprehensive eye exam, we follow a two-step process:
- Your optometrist will review how often your symptoms occur and how severe they are.
- If you appear to be a good candidate, we will perform a more advanced test that clinically measures eye misalignment using the Neurolens Measurement Device (NMD). The test takes just minutes, and the results help your eye care provider design a complete vision solution tailored to your needs.
You can take the first step toward relief with the Neurolens test, a one-minute online questionnaire that shows whether you may be a candidate. We also recommend a yearly eye exam to keep your vision and eye health on track.
