Your Family Eye Doctor– Providing Exceptional Care Since 1999
Dr. Vasuki Anandan
Dr. Anandan was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 11. She received her Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Toronto. After her undergraduate studies, she attended Indiana University School of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007. After graduation, she worked for several months as an associate at an optometry office in Mays Landing, NJ.
Upon returning to Toronto, she worked at an optometry clinic in the heart of the city. She relocated to Richmond, VA in 2010 and gained experience working with multiple optometry and ophthalmology practices in and around Richmond. In 2022, Dr. Anandan moved to Florida and is excited to serve patients in her new community. She specializes in dry eyes and specialty contact lens fitting, including keratoconus and other medically necessary contact lenses

Dr. Tanya Plante
Dr. Tanya Plante was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in both Neurobiology and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park. She then obtained her Doctorate of Optometry and an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Sciences from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Plante advanced her optometric training by matching with a residency program specializing in Ocular Diseases at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in North Carolina, the third-largest hospital for Veterans Affairs in the US.
Dr. Tanya Plante is committed to helping her community as a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association Leadership Institute. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys a variety of activities including painting, playing disc golf, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Raj Setty
Dr. Raj Setty is a dedicated optometrist who brings a personalized approach to patient care. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Setty earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at Indiana University.
Dr. Setty has a particular interest in dry eye care, helping patients find effective, personalized solutions to improve their comfort and quality of vision. He believes in taking the time to understand each patient's concerns and providing thoughtful, individualized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Setty enjoys boating, watching sports, and following the stock market. He brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to his work that he enjoys in his hobbies.

From the moment you walk through our doors, they are here to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. They take the time to listen, answer questions, help you find the right eyewear, and make sure you feel confident in your care. Their friendly personalities, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to our patients are just a few of the reasons they are such an important part of the St. Lucie Family Eye Care team.

Meet Evan
Although most of our patients may never get to meet Evan and experience his well-thought-out jokes, he plays a crucial role behind the scenes in keeping everything running smoothly.
Evan helps make sure insurance claims are billed correctly, glasses are ordered properly, patient accounts are handled accurately, and eyewear gets completed and delivered on time. He is one of the people working behind the scenes to make sure the details don't get overlooked.
His attention to detail and behind-the-scenes work help our doctors and staff focus on what matters most: taking great care of our patients.
We may not see him out front every day, but we'd definitely notice if he wasn't here!
