Regular Checkup?
A routine vision exam is essential for maintaining good eye health. It is recommended to have a yearly checkup to monitor any changes in your vision, screen for eye diseases, and ensure that your eyeglass or contact lens prescription is up to date. During the exam, we will conduct various tests, including a refraction to measure your vision prescription, a dilated retinal exam, and more. Please note that your vision plan will be billed accordingly.Medical Concern?
If you are visiting our office due to a medical complaint, injury, infection, inflammation, or a chronic eye disease, we will process your eye examination through your medical insurance carrier. Please be aware that you will be responsible for any applicable co-pays, deductibles, and refraction charges. Even if you have a medical issue, we can still assess your need for glasses or contact lenses. A special message for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, glaucoma, or macular degeneration: For patients with ongoing medical conditions like diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, or dry eye syndrome, we will bill their medical plans instead of vision plans. Our expert doctors will provide comprehensive care for managing these conditions, including diabetic retinal examinations. However, you can still utilize your vision plans for eye glasses or contact lenses. Please note that vision plans are not intended to cover examinations that require a higher level of medical decision making.Medical Concern?
